We’re building a scholarship fund to help others chase freedom through travel.
$1 from every bag sold goes toward helping someone break free and start their dream.
From day one, Grounded was about more than coffee. It was about creating freedom and being grounded in the world around us. For years, all James and I ever wanted was to travel — not as tourists, but to experience places the way locals live. To slow down, soak in beauty, and really be somewhere.
But like so many people, we were stuck in the loop. I had a 9-5 with two-day weekends. James worked in the oilfield — two weeks on, two weeks off — and I never had enough PTO to match his time. It always felt just out of reach.
That’s why we started Grounded — not just as a coffee brand, but as a way to build a life we didn’t need a vacation from. And now, we want to pay it forward.
For every bag of coffee sold, $1 goes into the Grounded Travel Scholarship Fund — a small way to help someone else chase their dream. Once the fund reaches $2,000, we’ll start accepting applications (we’re calling them “interviews” because we want to hear your story). We will narrow it down to our top applicants, then invite the community to decide on who gets the chance to make it happen.
